Here’s two good tastes that taste GREAT together. The late Jim Morrison, best known as lead singer and lyricist for the 60’s L.A.-based rock band The Doors had an obvious interest in the occult, lifting lyrics straight out of Frazier’s Golden Bough. reputedly underwent hand-fasting with his Wiccan girlfriend Patricia Kennealy, etc. Author William Burroughs did extensive study of occultism and references to same saturate much of his work. In addition, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge who was an acquaintance of Burroughs testifies to particular magical workings Bill undertook when necessary. With that in mind, we present a recording of Burroughs reciting Morrison lyrics over instrumental backing provided by the surviving Doors. ENJOY
