ZION TRINITY are a New Orleans-based vocal trio formed in 1997. They are songwriters who sing in the genres of Reggae, Jazz, Funk, African Ritual music featuring powerful vocal harmonies. Last year they released Spirit of the Orishas which their website describes thusly:
“This is a work of spiritual art. Zion Trinity and Janet “Sula Spirit” Evans have served as vessels for Spirit to create a book and CD project that will become a movement of understanding and reconnection with Orisha music. The book is a teaching tool for those who wish to intimately learn these songs and to truly comprehend their meanings.
