Having noted the 2023 passing of Thelemite and renowned British Rock musician Jon Povey, we present another of his collaborations with the band The Technicolor Dream, “Born Again / Isis Calling,” released in 2022. Povey was a member of The Pretty Things, a band formed by one of the Rolling Stones’ original guitar players, Dick Taylor. Jon joined during their psychedelic period appearing on albums like Parachute and PF Sorrow. He also appears on the Pretty Things’ late career recordings for Led Zeppelin’s Swan Song label. Povey released two albums devoted to the Prophet of the Lovely Star including Aleister and Me. Have a look!
