Academia Ordo Templi Orientis is pleased to announce a one-day conference, “American Thelema: Antecedents, History, Interpretations.” This theme explores the influence of the Americas on Crowley, Thelema and OTO. The conference will take place at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter Hotel in New Orleans on November 10, 2024 e.v. from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. Admission is $60 per person, with attendance limited to OTO members and their invited guests only.

Founded in 2011, Academia Ordo Templi Orientis (AOTO) is a learned society consisting of initiate members of Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) and academic affiliates. The goal of AOTO is to foster interdisciplinary research on OTO and the religious doctrine of Thelema that the Order promotes, as well as on broader subjects related to esoteric traditions, both historical and contemporary. Membership in AOTO is by invitation only. AOTO convenes conferences and issues periodic transactions.
