The talk will be based on Gary`s bio of HPB “Madame Blavatsky: The Mother of Modern Spirituality”

Basically anybody who was anybody in the European occult revival of the late 19 and early 20th centuries were members of the Theosophical society, the folks who started the Golden Dawn, etc. Crowley was a big fan of Blavatsky – though he didn’t think much of any of her successors.
