In honor of the birthday of the Prophet of the Lovely Star, the artist cashumi created a special edition of his reading of “The Poet.” The painting shows AC as a young poet as I cashumi imagines him at the time of the poem’s composition. The background was painted in the style of “used cardboard” to counter the accomplished beauty of the lyrics and voice.
