“Today marks the centennial of the birth of Harry Everett Smith (1923-1991), who was a groundbreaking experimental filmmaker, artist, musicologist, and compiler of folklore. From his collection of 78-rpm records, Smith assembled one of the most influential releases in the history of recorded sound: The Anthology of American Folk Music, a six-LP compendium originally released on Folkways in 1952.

And yes, Harry is not one of the accepted Gnostic Saints as per roll call of same in Liber XV – but he IS in my book. AND he was consecrated a Bishop of EGC by his holiness Hymenaeus Beta.
