I’m a writer. I am 72 years old and have never been more busy or productive in my entire life.
What do I write?
* I write books (20 published books in currently print, translated into 12 languages … plus scores of Introductions, essays, and articles). I write about Ceremonial Magick, Tarot, Qabalah, and mystical arts and practices; Before the pandemic I traveled extensively presenting my works at workshops and seminars all over the world. Now I am shifting gears and working hard to transform my in-person workshops and concerts and presenting them as much as possible to the virtual stage.
* I write songs (award-winning in a couple of cases) and record, make videos and perform at venues in nearly every city I visit.
My field of expertise is specialized and esoteric, and my work appeals to those who are socially conscious and focused on enlightenment, mind expansion and self-realization. My art is a labor of love and it needs to be because my royalties and speaking fees have never brought our family any significant measure of financial security. We live in extremely modest circumstances.
It is an understatement to say that I have been incredibly lucky. In the last 40 years, I have earned a measure of recognition in my profession. But being a metaphysical raconteur is not a get-rich-quick scheme by any stretch of the imagination.
I am blessed with wonderful friends and fans around the world who are generously supportive my art and my work.
