Volker Lechler, author of 2013’s beautiful and massive Heinrich Tränker als Theosoph, Rosenkreuzer und Pansoph, has just announced the publication of Die ersten Jahre der Fraternitas Saturni (The Early Years of Fraternitas Saturni).
To this day, the origins of the Fraternitas Saturni on May 8, 1926, are shrouded in mystery. Drawing on historical source material, Volker Lechler traces the background and development of the FS up to its hiatus in 1934. This includes newly discovered correspondence between Eugen Groesche and William Quintscher, which casts much of what was believed to be known about the FS in a new light.
Limited to 500 copies, the book is bound in embossed cloth with a dustjacket, is 400 pages long, and includes 144 illustrations. The price is €98 + postage during the subscription period (up to February 28, 2015), and €110 + postage thereafter. For more information, or to order copies, see http://www.magie.de.
