José Maria da Fonseca registered the Periquita trademark in 1941. Periquita is now the oldest brand of Portuguese table wines, having acquired widespread popularity in Portugal over the years and considerable brand awareness in export markets such as Sweden, Brazil, the UK, the USA, Canada, Denmark and Norway.

The Periquita Reserva represents the true Periquita tradition.  The Castelão (49%), Touriga Nacional (35%) and Touriga Francesa (16%) indigenous grape varieties provide Periquita Reserva with a character, a sweet aroma and complexity.

The wine can be found for around $15.
