Visible College Occult Conference: April 8, 9, 10 2016

The Visible College has announced its Occult Conference happening in Glastonbury April 8, 9, 10 2016.

The Occult Conference 2016 will focus on the practice of magick through recent history, and where we can take it next. Our lectures, titles TBC, include:

Friday warm-up day beginning just before noon, to celebrate the writing of the Book of the Law in Cairo, 1904, on this day. The local Ordo Templi Orientis Oasis, Calix Sanctus, will perform the Invocation of Horus in the town square, as Aleister Crowley did before the transmission of the text. Then Paul Westonwill be leading a reading of Chapter 1 of Liber AL to celebrate its writing, with a pre-party for AAA Ticket-Holders in the evening.

Sunday 10th they will offer a celebration of Liber XV: The Gnostic Mass to close the weekend.

They’re also offering a series of lectures including

  • Damh the Bard on Modern Druidry
  • Matthew Levi-Stevens on Strange Gods for the New Age
  • Jake Stratton-Kent on Grimoire Evolution
  • Emma Doeve on Where Is Babalon Now?
  • Gordon White on Future Magicks

With workshops from Damh the Bard, Elaine Bailey, Siany DragonOak, and taster sessions run by local practitioners across multiple disciplines.
