The Feast of Saint Jacob Boehme

According to Tau Polyphilus, tomorrow, November 17 is the Feast of Saint Jacob Boehme. The Invisible Basilica of Sabazius tells us that “Boehme was a German Protestant mystic and philosophical theologian,” adding:

Boehme stressed the value of individual religious experience in his teachings. “As the many kinds of flowers grow in the earth near each other, and none contends with the other about color, smell, or taste, but they let the earth and the sun, rain and wind, heat and cold, do what they will with them, while they grow each according to its own nature, so it is with the children of God.”

Boehme was born in Alt Seidenberg, which now is Stary Zawidów in Poland. In honor of Boehme’s home, here are some recipes from Polska Foods for a feast you may enjoy:
