According to Entertainment Weekly, “Salem can definitely talk in the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch comic series launching this week [today!] from Archie Comics … this new Sabrina the Teenage Witch comic is written by Kelly Thompson (Hawkeye, Captain Marvel). It is illustrated by Veronica Fish and Andy Fish, and lettered by Jack Morelli.”
EW notes that Salem, while snarky, is trying to help: “…Sabrina’s magic has both light and dark sides: It can change her hair to a more common teen blonde, or it can manifest scary nightmare monsters. That’s probably why Salem is trying to convince her to be careful with it, albeit with limited success.”
