The London Telegraph reports that author Richard Cavendish died October 21 aged 86. Cavendish was a scholar of magic, mythology and witchcraft whose 1967 book The Black Arts provided an introduction to such subjects to several generation providing the first intimations of the Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley, traditional witchcraft and the like.
