The last volume deals with “stellar palmistry”. Complete sets are exceedingly hard to find. Bound in brown cloth with gilt stamping to spine and front cover. Bound in full leather with red and black spine labels. 768 pp. + 768 pp. It consists of The Antiquities of Freemasonry by George Oliver; The Constitutions of the Freemasons; Illustrations of Masonry by William Preston with additions and copious notes by George Oliver; History of Freemasonry from the year 1829 to the Present by George Oliver; The Book of the Lodge or Officer’s Manual by George Oliver; A Short View of the History of Freemasonry by William Sandys; A Freemson’s Pocket Companion by A Brother of the Apollo Lodge. Ahiman Rezon by Lau. Dermott; A Dictionary of Symbolical Masonry by George Oliver; The History of Initiation in Twelve Lectures by George Oliver; The Early History of Freemasonry in England by James Halliwell; The New Book of Constitutions of the Antient and Honorable Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons by James Anderson; The Laws and Constitutions of the Grand Lodge of The Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons of Scotland. Leather is worn on both volumes with volume 2 having about ¾” splits at the top of the spines. Pages are clean with only occasional foxing. Ex-Masonic Library with library pockets to the front paste down of each volume. Also has stamped “For Reference Only” and an old previous owner’s stamp to the front paste down of each volume. No other library markings. This Hyneman publication of the Masonic Library is very rare and I believe this set to be complete. Good overall condition. $300.00

Previous owner has placed a small red Maltese cross on the title page of both volumes. General cover wear, especially to the page edges. Volume 2 has a small hole that goes through the top edge of the first 50 pages, does not effect the text. Might have been old insect damage. Overall a good only set. Rare. $100.00

First and possibly only edition. 8vo. 287 pp. Work of supernatural fiction by the author of “Revelation of a Society Clairvoyant” and other works. This work focuses on Black Magic, Human Sacrifice, the use of herbs in magic etc. etc. Interesting and rare work. Nell Montague was famous for having predicted her own death during a bombing in WWII. In good condition with wear and soiling to the covers. Some damp staining to the rear cover that has caused some discoloration to the rear paste down. Some light soiling to the page edges, still an overall good copy, especially considering age. No jacket. Scarce. $30.00

Light wear, binding is in very good condition and it is a lovely looking volume. $150.00
