New Book on Women and Magic in the Ancient World

While browsing the publisher’s section of the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Religion this weekend, I noticed a new anthology out from Oxford on Women and Magic that might be of interest to Zero Equals Two readers.  Daughters of Hecate: Women and Magic in the Ancient World was just published earlier this month, and includes a host of articles by a number of luminaries in the field.  They didn’t have enough copies for me to pick one up, but I hope to get it shipped to me in the next month or two, and hopefully can offer a more thorough review.
