New Behemoth Video References Liber AL

Blabbermouth posted an interview with Nergal, lead singer of Polish Black Metal and Behemoth, talking about the video from their latest album “God=Dog.” The band’s songs often feature lyrics by Krzysztof Azarewicz. While it’ s never been clear if Nergal self-identifies as a Thelemite his work and interview quotes would indicate that he’s even more Thelema-friendly than Andrew WK. One of the interesting things the interview says is:

“It refers to Aleister Crowley‘s philosophy, and there’s a quote from ‘The Book Of The Law’ which goes like that: ‘Is a God to live in a dog? No! But the highest are of us.’ And that’s a part of it — it’s a section of the song. And then again, go into the lyrics, make up your mind and build your own world there, because I don’t wanna fucking spoil it.”
