Ibogaine Moving From Burroughsian Fiction to Legit Medical Use

Once upon a time the drug Ibogaine is something you’d only hear about in the more wild-eyed writings of the later Hunter S. Thompson or an exotic passage in the most fevered of the late William S. Burroughs’ fiction. Now, there’s an extensive Time Magazine article about renewed interest in its use by clinical psychologists and addiction treatment professionals. I’d include an excerpt but I used up all my free article limit for May apparently. Trust me, it’s a cool article, especially the description of what folks experienced under the drug’s influence.
