For those who are in or can make the trip to Montreal on Saturday, April 28, Anathema Publishing Ltd. is hosting a book launch party for G. McCaughry’s (h)AURORAE, details below, from the publisher’s FB news feed:
“The event will take place at the Marc Gosselin Art Gallery (corner Bourbonniere and St-Catherine East, in Hochelaga), still on Saturday, April 28th, around 8pm until much later that night. It is, after all, a celebration!
“This shall be a semi-private event, open to all of my friends, comrades, and supporters of Anathema Publishing. There is no cover charge at the door, and the event is a BYOB, however, we will have a limited quantity of craft beer on tap (suggesting a certain $$ voluntary contribution, of course).
“In all honesty and transparency, those who know me will attest to this, this small get-together I do not organize as solely a promotional event, I do this having in mind to have a great time with the people I appreciate, and those curious to know more. No worries if this is not preferred literary genre, if you are among those respecting my vision and/or consider me a friend or acquaintance, you are more than welcomed to join us!
“Too often have I celebrated alone in my living room the release of the books published through Anathema, this time around, and since this is, after all, my very first book as an author, I intend to underline the whole thing with numerous ‘Cheers,’ ‘Santé,’ ‘Sláinte,’ ‘Skål,’ et al!
