(Crowley) Panic In Detroit Slideshow

This montage kicked off Richard Kaczynski’s opening remarks at the eighth biennial National Ordo Templi Orientis Conference (NOTOCON), which took place in Detroit. It recounts the rather silly panic in Detroit that followed Aleister Crowley’s brief visit to the Motor City in 1918-1919. All images are from Dr. Kaczynski’s archives for his research on “Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley”; the music is by David Bowie. So if you weren’t there – you can now enjoy Dr. Kaczynski’s scholar, witty and editing expertise!
