California Says: “Man Has the Right to Die as He Will” – UK Says “NOPE!”

Line 17 of Aleister Crowley’s “Rights of Man” states:

“Man has the right to die when and how he will.”

Yet all too often, living wills are ignored by hospital personnel and the right to die with dignity when faced with an extended period of excruciating pain and no hope of recovery is against local civil law.

On the other hand, California legistature passed a bill that would allow doctors to prescribe drugs to allow a terminally ill patient to end their life. Read that article here: http://www.latimes.com/local/political/la-me-ln-california-lawmakers-vote-on-right-to-die-legislation-20150909-story.html

And now the California Senate voted in favor of this legislature which will go into effect as of January 2016, unless Governor Brown exercises veto power in the next week or so.
