“A feast every day in your hearts in the joy of my rapture!”- AL II:42

Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, in a Paris automobile accident. She was born Diana Spencer 1 July 1961, and elevated to Lady in 1975 after her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer. She is best known for her humanitarian works, her tumultuous marriage to Charles, Prince of Wales, for being the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry, and for the media’s endless scrutiny of her life. Her brother said in his eulogy for her: “It is a point to remember that of all the ironies about Diana, perhaps the greatest was this – a girl given the name of the ancient goddess of hunting was, in the end, the most hunted person of the modern age.”

In honor of Diana, we bring you a recipe for one of her favorite treats.
